Dan Gilbert answered the call to ministry with the Liberty Quartet in December of 2003, fulfilling a call that he feels has been on his life since childhood, God truly does give us the desires of our heart. Dan's parents made sure he was in church every time the doors were open, causing him to miss "The Wonderful World of Disney" every Sunday evening - that was his cue that it was church time. Singing next to Mom and Dad in church, he developed a love for music with a southern influence (Mom and Dad being from Columbus, GA). As Dan became a teenager in the 70's, large church choirs were all the rage, so at age 14 he began his singing career in Boise's Singing Ambassadors. Every opportunity he had to sing was in preparation for singing with Liberty. “Though year-round traveling is not always easy, it has always been an honor and privilege to sing for the Lord wherever and whenever God calls.” God has richly blessed Dan and his wife Donna with their two boys, Justin and Jordan.
